Dr. Amy Brunner - Scholar of the Week August 12 - 16

Aug. 12, 2013 – The Office of the Vice President for Research recognizes Amy Brunner, an associate professor of molecular genetics in the Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation, College of Natural Resources and the Environment,  who seeks to identify poplar regulatory genes that act as major genetic control points for tree growth, development, and responses to the environment.

Her research team uses oligonucleotide microarrays to comprehensively characterize the expression of the popular genome during tree development and response to environmental stimuli.  Read more........
